Intense Pulsed Light Systems (IPL),

IPL is useful in the treatment of skin blemishes, such as dark brown circles or diffuse browning known as actinic bronzing. These are known as age spots or sun spots.

Vascular lesions might present as superficial blue, red or purple veins, spider veins and rosacea. IPL successfully treats these conditions on almost any area of the body.

One may expect a transient darkening of the treated pigmented lesions until they gradually fade away. The vascular lesions will gradually undergo some graying or blanching with adjacent redness until they fade away.

There may also be associated wrinkle effacement and reduction in pore size.

Non-ablative Fractional Laser Skin Remodeling

Laser light is more intense with narrow wave length bands.  It tends to be absorbed somewhat deeper in skin surface and may be accompanied by superficial cooling . The beam is fractionated or broken into mini-beams to spare surface damage while initiating the deeper restoration of the age-depleted supportive collagen and elastin marix. This will reduce wrinkles and restore the structural integrity of the skin laxity and texture.

Light Emitting Diode light (LED)

This light is generated by solid state LED systems to provide non-thermal irradiation for acne treatments, as well as treatment for solar aging skin damage. The LED panels generate light of three different spectral ranges, blue for destruction of acne-causing bacteria, red to stimulate tissue growth, decreasing inflammation and pore size, and near infrared to stimulate collagen synthesis thus minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.


What body area can be treated?

Any area, except around the eyes. The face, neck, chest, arms hands, legs can all be treated quickly and safely.

What are the photofacial sessions like?

They are quick and easy. After your initial preparation, your treatment provider will move the hand piece applicator over your skin. You may experience a slight “snapping” sensation with little or no pain.

No post-treatment attention will be necessary.
